I’m trying to do some custom CSS to make my images bigger, and make some changes here at Fish Food today. So please bear with me if you come here and things look weird. Thanks!

I’ve been absent. Kinda, I guess from Fish Food yes. I’ve been shooting so much lately, its not even funny. I think when you get into severely creative moments you have to go with it. That’s what I have been doing. Re-adjusting myself into the photographer I want to be. Not that I wasn’t before, I just felt like I needed to shake things up. I’ve been editing my pictures on my website, still a work in progress. I’m messing with things until they sit right. I’ve been coming up with plans of attack to get work too. Its close to happening. Anyway, just wanted to say Hello, and that my eyes are now open, and I am back, even thought I was never really gone.

What more could a girl want for Christmas than graduating from college? School was amazing, my teachers were amazing, and now its time to make it on my own. I wanted to thank some of my amazing teachers for their help, advice, and confidence in my work that has brought me to where I am today. First of all Everard Williams who is the assistant chair over at Art Center for his time and help with everything. Steve LaVoie for his endless amount of advice and pure inspiration. David Kelley for not forcing me to shoot people and letting me find my way. Ann Cutting for her amazing connections and class. And last but not least Matt Armendariz for being my one and only AMAZING independent study teacher. I would absolutely not be where I am if it not for Matt giving me endless advice, help and inspiration. Thanks to Adam for some great advice with food styling!!!
Grad show at Art Center was pretty cool, It was A LOT of work making walls, painting them, and building them. I am just glad they didn’t force me to use power tools. I mainly stuck with the rollers and spackling. Anyway, below are some pictures of ACCD Fall 08 grad show.
Left is Alexandra, right is me. We are in front of Alexandra’s painted tree.
This is a view of the our grad show space from above.
I hope everyone has a safe and amazing holiday!!
In case you were wondering, the image above has these weird broccoli, cauliflower mix, dragon fruit, figs, and persimmons.

In Between portrays the transition period of various objects as they are in between the stage of past and future. The objects may remain as only memories, dust, or stories.
(best anthro spread ever)
(weird little boy painting with big eyes. I like calling him the little boy because a movie i used to watch as a child called Meatballs, only we referred to it as the little boy movie. )
(amazing vintage brooch, I wish I could wear it more often)
(buttons, love them)
( I found this amazing compact that I use as a wallet, actually I think it was more of a cig case, but I use it everyday and I never get sick of it)
(art, can’t live without it)
(knights, or Jedi knights)
(records, more specifically pink floyd wish you were here)
(polaroids)
(amazing vintage seascape painting, you could totally get lost in it)
( good old sx70)
(the weegee picture at coney island. How did he get all those people to look at the camera? I think its more fun not to know)
(windows)
(nature, more specifically drift wood, where has it been drifting?)
That is the end of a quick list of some things I love.

Apple computers that is. I love mine, except when it breaks. The case on my computer broke and was eventually going to crack my screen so I needed to get it fixed asap. I went to one apple store and they said they would not cover it. So I cried, at the apple store. I don’t really know what came over me, maybe it was the fact the tech told me it would cost $1,200 to fix. The tears just came, and it obviously made the tech uncomfortable. I left that apple store, and then went home and thought about what I was going to do. I decided to just go and try another store, see what they had to say. Turns out, another store, another teach, agreed with me and covered it. Go team! So now I am using my old laptop which sucks, a lot, until my baby comes back, hopefully early next week. I am shooting towels right now, and I can’t see my files in bridge or photoshop because they are raw, and I’m using an old version of programs. Its really annoying. So this week may be little or no posts because I can’t process my images. I just thought I would give you guys a heads up, if anyone actually reads what I write. Ha!
